The name says it all: This is the Aperta (which means open in Italian) version of the 458 Speciale.

Put another way, the 458 Speciale A is a 458 Spider outfitted with the 458 Speciale’s bodywork, engine, suspension, electronic and other performance-related upgrades — which means 605 horsepower, 0-62 mph in 3.0 seconds and a hard-core demeanor.

The Speciale A will debut at the Paris Auto Show, which opens to the public on October 4. Just 499 examples will be built. Needless to say, we can’t wait to get our hands on one.
