  • Description: Crown is excited to welcome this 2014 Ferrari 458 Spider! The 458 Spider represents Ferrari’s last production vehicle featuring a Naturally Aspirated Engine. The 4.5 Liter V8 produces 562 Horsepower and nearly 400 lb-ft of Torque allowing this Italian Stallion to gallop to 62 MPH in a blistering 2.9 Seconds. To offset the pace of this Stallion, the Carbon Ceramic Brakes allow a stopping distance of 80 Feet from 60-0 MPH. The 458’s steering wheel seems right out of an F1, with multiple commands grouped on its hub, including the red manettino that controls the driving modes. Right next to its rim are the paddles that control the automated double-clutch seven-speed gearbox, the only one offered. In keeping with Ferrari tradition the body was designed by Pininfarina and the exterior styling and features were designed for aerodynamic efficiency, producing a downforce of 309 lbs at 120 mph. The front grille features deformable winglets that lower at high speeds, in order to offer reduced drag. The Spider offered a Ferrari first in an Aluminum Power Retractable Hardtop that weighs less than the soft top used on the outgoing F430 Spider. This innovative design allows the 458 Spider to meet the performance specs of its coupe counterpart. The car’s interior was designed using input from former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher; in a layout common to racing cars, the new steering wheel incorporates many controls normally located on the dashboard or on stalks, such as turning signals or high beams. According to car magazine Autocar, the 458’s design has drawn inspiration from the Enzo Ferrari and its Millechili concept car and was designed to be Ferrari’s sportiest V8-engine car. This car is perfect for twisty mountain roads, car shows, and serious joy riding. You are going to want THIS Ferrari in your vehicle collection. Don’t pass this one up! Please call us today at 1-520-900-7586 or stop by our showroom, which is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST! We are ready to provide you with the Ultimate Owning Experience.
